1. X86 PC emulation (qemu)
   
   
   • Emulate an iso file
     
     You can easily emulate a bootable iso file using:

     STUX CONTROL CENTER -> Utility -> Emulators -> X86 PC Emulator (qemu) -> Emulate iso file

     this will let you choose the location of the iso file, as in picture:
     
     
     
     click 'Open' and the bootable iso file will be emulated:
     
     
     
     
   • Qemu interface
     
     An easy interface to the qemu program is available at:

     STUX CONTROL CENTER -> Utility -> Emulators -> X86 PC Emulator (qemu) -> Qemu gui

     this will open a window like this:
     
     
     
     
     1. Check the devices that you wish to emulate.
        A device could be a real partition (like /dev/hda) or an iso file.
        
        
     2. Choose the boot device (cdrom, hard disk or floppy).
        
        
     3. Choose the amount of memory available to qemu (default is 128 MB).
        
        
     4. When ready, click 'Start emulation'.
        
        
     
     
   
   
2. Windows™ emulation (wine)
   
   
   • Start a Windows™ executable file
     
     You can easily run a Windows™ executable file using:
     
     

     STUX CONTROL CENTER -> Utility -> Emulators -> DOS & Windows emulator (wine) -> Run application

     
     this will let you choose the location of the executable Windows™ file, as in picture:
     
     
     
     click 'Open' and the executable file will be emulated:
     
     
     
     
   • Setup Wine:
     
     

     STUX CONTROL CENTER -> Utility -> Emulators -> DOS & Windows emulator (wine) -> Config Wine
